Terms
These cover the use of this website and the free work we send. Paid work is governed by whatever we agree with you in writing at the time, and that agreement always wins over this page.

The Coalesce Collective, based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Contact: hello@thecoalesce.co or 0427 477 597.
By using this site or a private page we've sent you, you're accepting these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site - and tell us, and we'll remove your page.
There is never any obligation to engage Coalesce. Receiving, reading, opening, replying to or acting on anything we send you does not create a contract, a debt, or a commitment of any kind.
You will never be invoiced for anything you did not agree to in advance, in writing, with the price stated before the work began. If an invoice you did not expect ever arrives from us, it is a mistake - tell us and we'll withdraw it.
A Mini Review is our reading of information that is publicly available about your business, prepared in good faith and checked as carefully as we can from the outside. It is an opinion informed by evidence, not a certification, an inspection, or a guarantee.
We label what we verified, what we observed, and what we recommend, and every review names what it could not check. Even so, we may be wrong - particularly about anything you already have that isn't visible from outside. Please tell us if we are, and we'll correct it.
What we don't advise on. Nothing we produce is financial, legal, taxation, accounting or insurance advice. We are not accountants, bookkeepers, BAS agents or tax advisers, and we don't act as any of them. For anything in those areas, use someone qualified and registered to do it.
We can't predict what it will earn you. We will tell you what we'd do and why. We will not tell you what it will earn you, because we can't control that and nobody honestly can. Any decision to act on a recommendation is yours.
Your business name, logo, photographs, copy and information stay yours throughout. We use them only to prepare work for you, and we stop the moment you ask.
Once you engage us, what we build for you is yours to keep: files, findings, written copy, and website files, permanently, whether or not you continue with us. Accounts and domains are registered in your name from the outset - we take access, never ownership. Your data is exportable on request, at any time, without notice or reason.
One honest limit, stated rather than buried: a running service built for you still needs someone to run it. We don't promise a custom-built system will keep working indefinitely with nobody maintaining it. If you'd rather we weren't operating it, we move you to an off-the-shelf product that someone else maintains, and help with the move.
Our methods, frameworks, templates, wording and the design of this site remain ours. You're welcome to use everything we give you inside your own business - including handing it to another provider. Please don't resell or republish our documents as a product of your own.
A review, presentation or proposal is published at a private, unlisted address created for you. It isn't listed anywhere and search engines are asked not to index it, but it is not password-protected - anyone you forward the address to can open it. We'd rather you knew that than assumed otherwise.
Pages may close after a period, and we may remove one at any time. Ask us and we'll re-open it, send you a copy, or delete it permanently - whichever you'd prefer.
We do this work carefully and we stand behind it. But our free reviews are provided as they are, and to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a decision you make after reading one. Where we're liable for paid work, that liability is limited to re-performing the work or refunding what you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where such a right applies, it applies regardless of anything written above.
If something has gone wrong, tell us first at hello@thecoalesce.co or on 0427 477 597. We'd like the chance to fix it, and we generally can.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If we change them, the date at the top changes with them. A change never applies retrospectively to work already agreed.
How we handle information is set out separately on the Privacy page, and how a review is produced is on Our Review Process.
